Dr. Bob East, also known as Robert East, is an Australian author, specializing in terrorism, insurgency, and counterinsurgency in the southern Philippines, a region he has traveled to on a number of occasions. He is an independent researcher who graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
