The 2025 Counterfeit Buyer Teardown is the largest study of its kind, commissioned by Red Points. It analyzes the behavior of 2,000 U.S. consumers who purchased counterfeit products online. The study shows that a whopping 61% bought fakes unintentionally, and among them, 52% ended up with fake fashion items.
