Localisation work was carried out in order to spot websites whose content was infringing the industrial or intellectual property rights of our client. The search was focused on:
The data reveals high levels of internet piracy for the analysed content, allowing the consumers to watch those contents in high definition and completely free of charge. .
These high levels of piracy -apart from their own legal implications as regards copyright infringement- have a direct impact on the income generated -now and in the future- by the owner of the exploitation rights, due to the loss in value of its assets (programmes, licences, ancillary rights, films, legal channels of digital distribution, etc.).

Infringed contents were located in 43 different download sites and/or online streaming sites
Once identified, each infringement (source site, localisation/removal date, server, individual or entity responsible for the infringement, graphic documentation, etc.) was documented using our technology. Then, withdrawal requests were sent to the infringing individual/entities.
In this case, the protection resulted in the detection of both photographs under the client’s copyright and direct downloads of the whole magazine (files).
