Red Points launches industry’s first AI Commerce Protection to secure AI-powered shopping channels

New York, October 2025 — Red Points, the world’s most widely used brand protection platform, today announced the launch of AI Commerce Protection, the industry’s first solution designed to detect, delist, and remove counterfeit listings appearing inside AI-powered shopping experiences, beginning with ChatGPT.

As AI-driven commerce accelerates, new fraud risks are emerging beyond traditional marketplaces. On September 29, 2025, OpenAI introduced Instant Checkout, enabling users to browse, evaluate, and purchase products directly inside ChatGPT — powered by the Agentic Commerce Protocol, an open-source standard developed with Stripe. U.S. users can now buy products from participating merchants, starting with Etsy sellers, without leaving the chat interface. Shopify and Walmart integrations are expected to follow.
