Karen Rivera

Karen Rivera is a trademark strategist who specializes in brand protection, internal policy creation, and handling the complete life cycle of trademarks. She started working at Elkem in 2017 and became its first Trademark Manager in 2024. Karen is interested in stoic philosophy, advancing justice, gender equity, and sustainability awareness. She earned a Law degree from Universidad Centroamericana Jose Simeón Canas, UCA El Salvador, Central América in 2003 and has been an authorized Lawyer in El Salvador since 2006. Additionally, she holds a Master\\\'s degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, UNIR Spain, which she completed in 2023.
