Future-proofing your brand protection strategy – Part 1

Table of Contents:

Red Points has teamed up with Jorij Abraham from The E-commerce Foundation and the World Trademark Review for a webinar. It aims to inform brands on the coming threats to help strengthen their brand protection strategy in 2020.

In 2018, ecommerce sales accounted for 51.9% of all retail growth. Brands that have adapted to the new ecommerce formats are rubbing their hands with delight, seeing better engagement and more sales as a result.

However, the rise in opportunities also calls for more vigilance. There’s no hiding the fact that it’s also been a great year for the black market; Red Points’ internal data found an increase of almost 40% in counterfeit listings when comparing Q1 2018 to Q1 2019.

This growth in counterfeiting is unlikely to stop any time soon, so it’s up to brands to make sure they are prepared for challenges to their brand protection in 2020.

The webinar is set to take place on Wednesday, December 12th at 6 pm CET/ 12 pm EST, and signups are available by following this link.
